About CBD
What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a natural compound found in the hemp plant. It is one of over 100 cannabinoids in hemp. Unlike THC, CBD does not produce a pronounced 'high' or strong psychoactive effects. Many people use CBD as part of their daily wellness routine.
Will CBD get me high?
Our oils, capsules and cream are full-spectrum hemp-derived CBD with 0.3% or less THC, compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill, and for the CBD + CBN gummies, THC was not detected in lab testing. Hemp-derived CBD at these levels is not known for producing the high associated with marijuana. The Certificate of Analysis for each product shows its exact THC result.
Is CBD legal?
Yes. Hemp-derived CBD products containing less than 0.3% THC are legal at the federal level under the 2018 Farm Bill. State laws can vary, so check your local regulations if you have concerns.
Will I fail a drug test?
Our full-spectrum products contain 0.3% or less THC. While very unlikely, it is possible that heavy or consistent use could register on a sensitive drug test. If drug testing is a concern for your job or other reasons, talk to your employer or testing provider before using any full-spectrum CBD product.
How is CBD different from marijuana?
Both come from the cannabis plant family, but they are different plants. Marijuana contains high levels of THC (the compound that gets you high). Hemp contains very low levels of THC (less than 0.3%) and higher levels of CBD. Our products are made from hemp, not marijuana.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
Your body has a natural system called the endocannabinoid system (ECS). It is a cell-signaling system found throughout the body. CBD works with this system by interacting with receptors found throughout your body.
Our Products
Are your products lab tested?
Yes. Our oils, capsules, cream and gummies are tested by an independent third-party lab, NV Cann Labs, and the Certificates of Analysis are published on our Certificates of Analysis page so you can check the CBD and THC results yourself.
Where can I see your Certificates of Analysis (COAs)?
COAs are available on our website. You can find them on individual product pages or by emailing us at info@crosscountrywellness.com. We believe in full transparency -- if you want to see a lab report, we will get it to you.
What is the difference between full spectrum, broad spectrum, and CBD isolate?
Full spectrum contains all the cannabinoids found in the hemp plant, including trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3%). Broad spectrum contains multiple cannabinoids but has the THC removed. CBD isolate is pure CBD with no other cannabinoids or terpenes. Our oils, capsules and cream are full spectrum. Our CBD + CBN gummies are not labeled full spectrum and test with no detectable THC.
Do your products contain any allergens?
Ingredients vary by product. Check the product label and product page for the full ingredient list. If you have specific allergies, contact us at info@crosscountrywellness.com and we will help you find the right product.
What is CBD + CBN?
CBN (cannabinol) is another cannabinoid found in hemp. Our CBD + CBN Gummies combine both cannabinoids in one product.

Using Our Products
How much CBD should I take?
Everyone is different. We recommend starting with a low serving and increasing gradually until you find what works for you. Our product labels include suggested serving sizes as a starting point. Body weight, metabolism, and your reason for using CBD all play a role.
When will I feel the effects of CBD?
It varies from person to person. Oils held under the tongue are generally absorbed faster than gummies or capsules, which go through digestion first.
Can I take CBD with other medications?
If you take prescription medication, talk to your doctor before using CBD. CBD can interact with certain medications, especially those that carry a 'grapefruit warning.'
How should I store my CBD products?
Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep caps and lids tightly closed. There is no need to refrigerate our products, but avoid extreme heat.
Can I use more than one product at a time?
Yes. Many of our customers use a combination of products -- for example, a tincture in the morning and topical cream for targeted areas. Just be mindful of your total daily CBD intake.
What does CBD taste like?
Our CBD oils have a natural hemp flavor -- slightly earthy and nutty. Our gummies come in Blue Raspberry flavor. Our topical cream has no taste and is applied to the skin.

Pet CBD
Is CBD safe for pets?
Many pet owners use CBD for their dogs and cats. Our 1000mg Hemp-Derived CBD Oil for Dogs & Cats is formulated specifically for pets. As with any supplement, we recommend talking to your veterinarian before giving CBD to your pet.
How much CBD should I give my dog or cat?
Start with a low amount and adjust based on your pet's response. A common starting point is 1-2mg of CBD per 10 pounds of body weight. Every animal is different, so start small and observe how your pet responds over a few days.
How do I give CBD to my pet?
Our pet CBD oil comes with a dropper. Place drops directly in your pet's mouth, mix into food or a treat, or apply to their gums. Most pets accept it easily when mixed with food.
Can I give my pet the same CBD I use?
We recommend using our pet-specific formula. It is formulated with pets in mind, including the right concentration and ingredients.
